ABHANG - A LIVE SACRED MUSIC EXPERIENCE BY ODEUM

ABHANG – A Live Sacred Music Experience by Odeum invites audiences to experience the beauty, devotion and spiritual depth of one of Maharashtra’s cherished musical traditions.

Rooted in a centuries-old Bhakti tradition, Abhang brings together devotional poetry and soulful melodies to create an atmosphere of reflection, peace and inner stillness. The music has been performed and cherished across generations, carrying themes of devotion and spiritual connection through simple yet powerful compositions.

Presented live by Kochi Folklore Odeum, the experience brings together vocals, harmonium and tabla, allowing the rhythm, melody and poetry to flow naturally as one musical journey. Rather than being simply a concert, the performance is designed as an intimate cultural and meditative experience where traditional Indian music meets a heritage setting.

Whether you appreciate Indian classical and devotional music, have an interest in India’s living cultural traditions, or simply want to spend an evening immersed in soulful music, ABHANG offers an opportunity to pause, listen and connect with the deeper emotional power of sacred sound.
