Jim Beam Jams: Parvaaz

Jim Beam Jams: Parvaaz is a live music experience featuring Parvaaz, the Bengaluru-based band known for creating atmospheric and genre-defying music rooted in folk, blues, rock, psychedelia, and South Asian poetic traditions. Formed in 2010, the band began with Khalid Ahamed and Mir Kashif Iqbal and developed its distinctive sound through a combination of expressive vocals, guitars, bass, drums, and evocative songwriting.

Parvaaz’s music draws significantly from Kashmiri and Urdu poetry, creating soundscapes that balance introspective lyrics with expansive instrumental arrangements. Their musical journey includes releases such as Behosh, Baran, Transitions, Kun, and their latest album Na Gul Na Gulistan.

At Jim Beam Jams: Parvaaz, audiences can expect an immersive live performance built around the band's signature sound, combining textured guitars, powerful rhythms, expressive vocals, and poetic storytelling. The concert offers an opportunity to experience Parvaaz’s music in the atmosphere of a live setting, where their layered compositions and dynamic performance style can be experienced beyond the recording.
