Living The Gita Movement with Sadguru Sakshi Shree is an experiential spiritual gathering inspired by the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita and its relevance to modern everyday life. The movement focuses on moving beyond simply reading or studying the Gita toward understanding and practising its principles in daily situations.
The initiative is built around three interconnected pillars: Knowledge, Practice, and Community. Participants are introduced to practical interpretations of Gita teachings and approaches that can be incorporated into everyday life, including awareness, meditation, purposeful action, emotional balance, and inner reflection.
A key part of the movement is the exploration of the ten Maha Mantras presented in Sadguru Sakshi Shree's book, Life-Changing Maha Mantras: The Art of Living the Gita. Published by Penguin Ananda, the book translates core ideas from the Bhagavad Gita into practical principles related to purpose, action, balance, clarity, and inner freedom.
The gathering also provides an opportunity to experience Sakshi Sadhana, a meditation-oriented practice presented as part of the movement, along with guidance and reflections from Sadguru Sakshi Shree. The approach is presented as accessible to people from different backgrounds and is intended for students, professionals, families, and anyone interested in exploring the practical dimensions of Gita wisdom.
Whether you are familiar with the Bhagavad Gita or are beginning your journey of exploration, Living The Gita Movement offers a space to reflect on timeless teachings and consider how they can relate to contemporary challenges, personal decisions, relationships, work, and inner development.
