About

Nazrul Mancha is a well-known semi-open-air auditorium located in the Rabindra Sarobar–Southern Avenue cultural zone of Kolkata. Named after the legendary Bengali poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, it is widely used for music concerts, theatre performances, cultural festivals, comedy shows, and large public events.

The venue has a seating capacity of around 2,000–3,300 people, making it one of the major performance spaces in South Kolkata. It is especially famous for hosting prestigious events like the Dover Lane Music Conference and various classical and contemporary music concerts.
